Lakshmi Kala Pulla is a Full Stack Developer at Cappius Technologies Inc, with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field of Big Data and Data Science. She has a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Andhra University and has a passion for exploring new technologies and tools in the field of data analytics. Lakshmi has worked on various Map Reduce applications that run on datasets of sizes up to 1 TB on a 10-node cluster available with one of their customers. She has developed applications for mining the location of users in social media, graph algorithms such as shortest path, and tool evaluation criteria for various Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive and Pig. She is currently exploring graph applications on Neo4j graph databases, which will eventually be utilized in their projects that include Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Semantic/Link analyses. In addition to her expertise in Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Mahout, R, and Rapid Miner, Lakshmi is also proficient in Python, Neo4j, NLP, Big Data, ML, Data Scientist, NoSQL, Cassandra, and Apache Hive. She is currently learning NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and HBase. Prior to joining Cappius Technologies, Lakshmi worked as a Consultant at Zettamine. In her current role, she is responsible for developing big data applications particularly in social media analytics, community identification from a network, and machine learning. Lakshmi is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is always eager to learn and explore new technologies.
